Four resistance bars, four loads, one unit that fits under the sofa. Two U-shaped levers with non-slip foam grips, joined by a pair of steel resistance bars. You press the levers toward each other and the bars push back. No anchoring, no doorway, no floor space, no setup.

Stocked in a domestic warehouse. Orders are processed in 1–2 business days and delivered in 2–5 business days after that. No three-week wait, and no customs or import duty.

How the four levels work

The kit comes with four resistance bars: two marked 30–60 lb and two marked 90–120 lb. Each bar has an internal and an external gear position, and that second position is what doubles the range.

Level 1 30 lb light bars, external gear
Level 2 60 lb light bars, internal gear
Level 3 90 lb heavy bars, external gear
Level 4 120 lb heavy bars, internal gear

Four steps spanning ninety pounds. Swapping a bar takes about ten seconds — press the button on the handle, pull the bar out, push the next one in.

Who this is for

People who have outgrown resistance bands. If you are starting from zero, 30 lb is a real load and you would be better served by our fabric resistance bands first. This is the step after that — and it goes far enough that most people never need the step after it.

What you can train with it

  • Chest — hold it in front of the sternum and press the levers together. The pecs work through the full close.
  • Biceps — one lever braced, curl the other in toward the shoulder.
  • Triceps — arm bent overhead or across the body, extend against the resistance.
  • Forearms and grip — squeeze and hold. This is where most people feel it first.
  • Upper back and rear shoulders — positioned behind the neck and pressed outward.
  • Inner thighs — seated, placed between the knees and squeezed. An adductor exercise that is otherwise awkward to load at home without a machine.

How to progress

Start on level 1. Three sets of 12 presses per movement, twice a week, with a one-second hold at the closed position. When all three sets feel controlled for two sessions running, move up a level and rebuild from 12 reps. On level 4, add hold time, add sets, or slow the release.

Build and dimensions

  • Stainless steel frame, double-layer springs inside a leather wrap
  • Thickened non-slip foam grips
  • 26.38 in long × 7.09 in wide, about 6 lb assembled
  • Fully detachable — stores under a bed or in a suitcase

Does this actually build strength without weights?

Short answer: yes, if the effort is comparable. We went through the meta-analysis on elastic versus conventional resistance — and the conditions attached to it — in Can You Build Real Upper-Body Strength Without Weights?

Safety

Always install two bars of the same resistance. Mixing a 30–60 bar with a 90–120 bar loads one side harder than the other and twists the frame. Springs store energy, so keep a firm grip on both levers and release under control rather than letting the unit snap open. Check the bars and their mountings before each session and stop using it if anything is bent, loose or damaged. Keep clear of children and pets while training.
